Flee the Facility Basics
As a survivor, hack the closest computer first to earn credits and learn the map layout before the beast reaches full speed. If the skill check feels fast, stand slightly to the side so you can cancel the hack when the beast heartbeat grows loud.
When a teammate's captured, check if the beast is camping the pod before running in. A quick rescue followed by an immediate stun often loses two survivors. Bait the beast away first or coordinate a double rescue.
Beast Player Tactics
Beast players should patrol the central computer cluster instead of chasing one survivor across the map — survivors return to the closest objective. Use short lunges to force vaults, then cut around the other side to intercept.
Learn the one-way drops and vents on each map. Dropping from a vent while the beast is above forces them to take the long way down. Save your speed coil for the final exit sequence, not during a chase you can already escape.

Hack the required number of computers to unlock an exit, then unlock a door with a key card found in one of the colored lockers. Avoid the beast's line of sight.
What does the beast do?
The beast captures survivors by hitting them and places them in freeze pods. Other survivors can rescue frozen teammates before the timer runs out.
How do I improve my hacking speed?
Leveling up unlocks better hammer skins and computer animations, but hacking speed is mostly consistent. Practice the timing mini-game to avoid errors.
What are the best crates to open?
Legendary and epic crates have the lowest drop chance but the best skins. Save your tokens for featured crates that match your preferred hammer or gem style.
