Your First Day in Adopt Me

A social pet collection game where you adopt, raise, and trade virtual pets. Start by completing daily tasks — Camping, Pizza Place, School — to earn bucks fast.

The key to wealth is trading, so learn pet values early. A Frost Dragon is worth roughly 2-3 Arctic Reindeers. Shadow Dragon is the most valuable pet in the game. Never accept first offers without checking value.

Trading & Values

Unlock trading permanently with the in-game trading license (15 bucks). Check trusted value lists before accepting. Demand matters more than rarity — a pet only one player wants is hard to trade.

Collect legendary pets from events. Buy eggs in bulk (Cracked Egg for value, Royal Egg for better odds). Neon and Mega Neon versions are worth way more than four separate copies combined.

Building Wealth Fast

Event grinding is the fastest wealth builder. Seasonal events introduce limited pets that appreciate in value. Spend the first week grinding currency for event eggs — they become untradeable once the event ends.

Pet age-up is a hidden wealth builder. Use Baby Shop age-up potions and focus on aging one pet at a time to Neon. Four fully aged pets combine into a Neon worth 3-4x four separate babies.

The trading meta changes monthly. Join the official Discord before big trades. Never trade a newly released pet — its value's unstable and usually drops 30-50% after the first week.

Pet Care & Aging

Pets need hunger, thirst, energy, and fun filled by feeding, watering, and playing. A happy pet earns more Bucks and levels faster. Keep pet food and toys stocked so you never miss a care cycle.

Aging goes: Newborn → Junior → Pre-Teen → Teen → Post-Teen → Full Grown. Each stage needs more care. Use Age-Up Potions from the Baby Shop to skip the grind — one potion ages a pet by one full stage.

Four Full Grown pets of the same species combine at the Neon Cave (under the bridge) into a Neon pet, which glows and is worth way more. Four Neons combine into a Mega Neon. That's the core wealth loop — age in bulk, combine, trade up.

Event Calendar & Limiteds

Adopt Me runs events every 4-6 weeks — Halloween, Christmas, Easter, Summer, and smaller ones. Each introduces a limited egg with exclusive pets that become unobtainable when it ends.

Grind event currency in the first week and buy as many event eggs as possible. After the event, those pets only exist in the trading economy and their value climbs steadily. A Frost Dragon from 2019 is still one of the most valuable pets in the game years later.

Watch the in-game news board. Set a reminder for day one — early grinders get the cheapest pets before demand spikes. Avoid buying event pets from other players during the event; prices are inflated and will drop.

Avoiding Scams

Scams are common in Adopt Me trading. Golden rule: never accept a trade that asks you to leave the game, join a 'free pet' link, or do a 'trust trade' where you give first. Adopt Me has no official middleman system.

Always use the in-game Trade License window and double-check both sides. Watch for 'fake win' scams — scammers show a screenshot of a trade they claim to have done. Verify inside the actual trade UI, not in chat.

Trust your gut. If a trade feels too good to be true, it is. Report scammers through Roblox moderation with evidence. The community Discord has a scam-alert channel worth joining before you trade high-value pets.
